Lil Wayne and Rich the Kid have linked up for his or her first-ever collaborative album, Trust Fund Babies.
Rich the Kid lately took to Instagram to announce the project, revealing the title, animated cowl artwork, and launch date.
“Me and @liltunechi album Trust Fund Babies dropping Oct 1st preorder link in bio,” he wrote.
Trust Fund Babies serves as Weezy’s latest project since 2020’s Funeral, and Rich’s first since his Lucky 7 EP.
The project arrives only a month after Young Money president Mack Maine teased a number of upcoming full-length choices from Lil Wayne.
“Anybody that’s like a Wayne fan, they know that I Am Not A Human Being III is up, coming up soon,” Maine revealed during a dialog on Twitter Spaces. “Wayne and Rich the Kid have a project together that’s coming out soon. ColleGrove is coming out soon, with him and 2 Chainz—I was about to say Tity Boi, we still call him Tity Boi. But uh, yeah, so it’s a lot of music Wayne’s working on.”
